Bone Marrow

Okay, this might sound weird to lots of people but i have this urgent urge to eat some bone marrow NOW!!! Last nite, my mom made me one of my favorite dishes: baby ribs stewed with taro.  Not only it was amazing, the bone marrow from the baby ribs were banging.  I couldn't get enough of it.  Even my mom made a comment of how i was able to eat a lot. Ha!!!

I remember one time Chloe mentioned bone marrow at Park Hyatt Hotel.  I had no idea that it's where Blue Duck Tavern is.  It's weird, but i never wanted to try BDT even though it's been around forever.  We all went to Park Hyatt last year for a charity event and the restaurant looked very fancy.  I just didn't know it was BDT.  Anyhow, i tried to make reservation for BDT so i could have some bone  marrow.  Guess what? I couldn't get in until end of April. Seriously???? I thought we are in a bad economy, why is a 5 stars restaurant booked a month out? While waiting for the dinner all way in April, i guess i have to run to Whole Foods and buy some beef bone marrow and make it myself.  On that thought, i wonder if Deonn will like it? Sometimes he thinks i eat really strange stuff.  *Sigh* I want some Pate now too.  Reminded me of last Fall in Paris, i ate Pate for every meal.  It was more than amazing.   But i can't have any while being pregnant.  OMG, so many restrictions.

Back to baby stuff, i told Deonn that we should start talking to the baby now because starting week 16, the baby can hear us.  We also need to start letting him listen to classical music, to simulate him intellectually.  Deonn pondered for a moment, and asked if we should let the baby listen to Jay-Z and Kayne West as well.  I don't mind that because i love Kayne.  But i don't think listening to them will stimulate the baby's brain in anyway.  Deonn scoffed and asked how does classical music stimulate the baby's brain.  I need to do more research on this to give him a good answer, but as far as i know, Mozart's symphonies can certainly contribute more to the baby than "Empire State of Mind" or "Love Lockdown."

My mom said that i need to start going to the temple more often to pray for the baby. I have yet to find a temple near either Chloe's or Deonn's. I guess i'd just have to drive far.

I've been walking to/from work for the past few days.  It's been really nice.  The weather has been cooperative as well.  I didn't mind the rain yesterday.  For a minute, i imagine myself being in London walking to the tube.  Ha, not!!! My outfit was really awesome, to think about it.  Although it was hard to conceal my belly.   I had on the hot pink sweater  and while walking, i had on my Burberry rain boots.  The pink umbrella totally sealed the deal.   Of course, i changed into my black shoes once i got to the office.  :)
