The previous blog was written a few days ago but i forgot to hit the "POST" button. So i'm not trying to do an information overload to my readers on a beautiful Friday like this, please bear with me. As i'm going through this pregnancy, my mind is always racing and working with so many thoughts and plans, a lot of times, they are just about random things.
Anyhow, Deonn and I had a mini date on Wednesday. We haven't done that in a long time. We usually go out or do something on the weekend, but during the week, he's been really busy with school and work. So we ended up just not spending enough QT together. That morning, i was attacked by a horrible migraine. Usually, i'd take the migraine medicine my doctor prescribed me. However, being pregnant and all, i had to fight it without drugs. Oh, the pain! It was crucial. I then became cranky with Deonn and he wasn't having it. Gosh, to think about it, what if i were to have morning sickness, how would we get through it. Anyhow, that evening he came home with flowers and his explanation was that he needed to kill my ugliness from the morning with his kindness. Lol!!!
Yesterday was St. Patty day but Deonn didn't seem to notice. He went to work with his black suit and gold tie. Didn't even remember to put on a tiny bit of green. He came by my office and gave me some strawberries chocolate on his way home from work. I asked what was he going to do for the rest of the evening. The response was somewhere along the line of staying home and working on something. Gosh, seriously, no wonder why he got lines and wrinkles on his forehead. I had to tell him to go out with his friends and may be drink some green beer.
Back to baby talk, i got an appointment with one of the doctors Crystal recommended at Georgetown. This means i need to have all my records from my doctor transferred over. I really don't want to start over this late in the game but simply there's no choice. Georgetown is obviously just down the street for us and it's convenient to get there. It might be a tad far for my parents to get there when it's time for delivery. May be i need to take them there when we do the hospital tour so they know the facility.
Speaking of delivery, apparently some people do manage to deliver their baby without the use of Epidural. I really wonder how they do it. Linh told me she gave birth to her 2 sons the regular way and with no use of Epidural. Seriously, i totally admire that girl. No wonder why she is smoking hot with and very athletic now. I had this thought may be i should go that route too. Right!!! Jenny totally laughed at me and thought that i was talking nonsense. She said that i got zero tolerance for pain, there is no way i could do it. My mom has been talking to me about not using Epidural as well. If you think about it, people back in the old days didn't have that option. But i need to look into all the side effects of Epidural. I wish that there is a way that we can find out what kind of pain it is when you go through labor, as in what level of agony it is. But i guess you will never find out until you go through it. Even Deonn agreed that i should skip Epidural Well! Easy for him to say.
