It was a great mini getaway. Although too "mini" in my opinion. I wish we could have stayed another day. So it was my sister bachelorette party in Cancun this past weekend. It was supposed to be at the end of July, but due to my pregnancy, she agreed to move it up 2 months. Very nice of her because the wedding isn't until October.
This was my first time at an "All inclusive" for a bachelorette, didn't know what to expect. Although i've seen a lot of parties every time i go to these types of resorts. My sister is pretty laid back so the trip wasn't too wild, per se. It was mostly chillaxing. Which i didn't mind, because it wasn't like i could participate. Her friends are super nice, they all helped out with me and didn't make me feel left out for being hugely pregnant.
This was me trying to turn side way to show the bump.
Cancun is a good time as always, i've been here so many times, i lost counts. But i always like the beach here and the foods are typically more decent than all other Caribbean places. I had leg cramps every night though, it was horrible.
As i laid by the pool with my huge belly, a random lady came by and wanted to touch my belly. I promptly declined and she looked very shocked that i didn't want her to touch me. People need to realize that if you are a stranger, you shouldn't touch nobody even though it's a sticking out belly.
So this week marks my entry to the 3rd trimester. It's crazy how i managed to get through the first two. It hasn't been so bad at all, i'd have to say that it's been breezy. I'm very glad and grateful for that. I'm supposed to gain another 10lbs in this trimester. I actually don't mind another 10lbs. I don't feel too fat just yet, :)
By this week, my baby weighs two and a quarter pounds, so i supposed about the size of a cabbage. According to baby books, she can blink her eyes, and may be able to see the light that filters in through the womb. I think that's the coolest thing. Good thing i was in the shade most of the time in Cancun, cuz i didn't put no sunglasses on my belly to shield the light from my baby.
