Under the weather

The reason London was asleep through the whole Valentine dinner was because she didn't feel well.  The next morning, she woke up with a fever.  I was worried sick. She cried the whole time.  Not a good cry, a very sad and weak cry.  At that point, i miss her normal, healthy wailing.  We took her temperature and it was a whooping 102.  We monitored her for one day which she didn't improve, so we took her to the doctor the next day.  So her symptoms are secondary to a viral upper respiratory tract infection.  The doctor didn't prescribe her anything and said we can just use infant ibuprofen.  Deonn also got her some children's Tylenol.  We would alternate them in between.  All day, we had to use the bulb suction to get all mucus, snots, and whatever there is in her nose so she could breath.  The poor baby would wiggle anyway she can to get out of that.  She also coughs a lot.  Seeing her sick really breaks my heart.  She isn't her usual self, not really playful, she would just lay there, looking so tired and defeated.

She has gotten a lot better today, but she's still not feeding as much as i would like to.  I hope this cold is over soon.
