My little munchkin turns 9 months today.
Time does go by so fast when you are having fun and/or busy. I’ve been a mom for 9 whole months. It’s been amazing :)
London is very on track with her developments. She’s not talking just yet but she babbles
all day long. Her language doesn't make much sense to us yet, but we keep talking to her. We believe that the more verbal interaction
baby has with adults, the more her communication skills develop...whether or
not the "conversation" actually means a thing. Sometimes she isn't saying much, I still keep
up the chatter on my own -- i point out things around the house, and talk her through simple tasks like folding
the laundry or making dinner as i perform them.
I need to read to her more often :( but Deonn seems to do well with
that task. She responses to her name,
either by London or Tram-Anh

London is able to feed herself with food on the table. She makes quite a mess but i'm happy to see her doing it.
The next “milestone” is “Separation Anxiety”. My baby totally masters this and it is currently
at its peak. She definitely shows
extreme attachment to me versus others.
I like it sometimes, but it is very difficult when I have things to do
or when there are others around us.
Deonn initiated the “not holding London” operation a few weeks ago and
he is sticking to it. We are not holding
her while feeding her, she’s holding her own bottle now. We are not holding her to put her to sleep :( She sleeps
on her own. We pretty much only embrace
her and play with her, but not holding her or having her on us. I’m more of a follower and Deonn is the
executer of this operation. It’s little
difficult for me to enforce this because after a long day of work, all I want
to do is hold my baby in my arms and watch her sleep. But Deonn’s point is by doing that I’m making
it easy for myself but less enjoyable for others around her. She can be very whiny and her cries/screams
get louder and louder if she wants to make her presence known.
We are going to her 9 months check up this Thursday. I’m excited to see how much she has grown
since the last appointment.
