Summer is here and so is the heat wave. We have had a few weeks where it was consistently 100 degree or so. This week is no different, we haven't even been able to take London outside due to the heat. Most of the time is from the house to the car and to another place with AC. Not all is bad, some days are cooler than most and we are able to do a few things outside. However, with this rate, i do not know if we will have an "outdoorsy" summer.
Our pool started to open on Memorial weekend but we didn't go until a few weeks later. We decided to skip the kiddie pool and went straight to the real pool. London had a blast at first. We put her in her float and she was kicking her legs all of the place. That didn't last long. She started putting her face in the water and that wasn't fun. Hopefully we can try again when the temperature isn't too hot out.

When going outside isn't an option, we go shopping instead. London likes looking around when her mommy shops :) I would pick something up and ask for her opinion. Most of the times, she just smiles. I take it as a "yes, you should get it, mom".

We like to go to brunch on Sundays, it's kind of a day to relax and not do much. We usually do a lot, church if we can, shop for essentials items for the house (grocery, London's stuff, etc...) So brunching is kinda a reward from what we have accomplished after each trip or at the beginning.
