Cow's Milk

One week from today will be London's official first birthday. I can't believe my baby girl has grown so fast. The past few days has been busy and hectic with all the planning for her big bash this weekend.  It seems just like yesterday that she was an infant and now we are gearing up to her first birthday.
One of the the important milestones is upgrading to whole milk from formula.  That transition couldn't have been easier.  We decided on organic Horizon whole milk plus DHA Omega 3's,  since it helps support the brain, heart and eyes..  The  product claims to have great taste. I'm usually weary that some DHA is derived from fish,  but this one use only pure, plant based DHA so it tastes just like regular whole milk.  Since London isn't eating any fatty fish or organs meat (which are the main source for DHA) i think this will be a great alternative.
Deonn was making her second bottle after she just finished the first one  a few minutes ago. He made a comment on how she was drinking it like it was chocolate milk.  I'm very glad that she likes it. I supposed it tastes 100 times better than her usual Enfamil.  Each bottle that we give her now is half whole milk and half Enfamil.  May in the next week or so, she will be on whole milk completely.
I used to want London to try soy milk when she transitioned from formula.  Our pediatrician said that cow's milk is still the best route.  So here we are, at almost 12 months, London and her cow's milk.
We are also weaning her off of the bottles.  So during the day, we will put the milk in sippy cups.  She will only take the bottles at night time.  It's still a working progress.

London has also taken her first few steps.  She does it randomly and only when she feels like it. She will also give kisses if we ask her.  Every day is a new adventure with London :)
Here are some of her latest pictures:
