2 years

"How old are you?"
"Two!"
London proceeds to show 1 finger whenever we ask the above question. She later on uses 2 fingers on 2 hands to answer but still have yet to do it with one hand.

TWO!

Two!
Baby girl has turned TWO and grown into this little person that we love more and more each day.  She's no longer a tiny baby that lays in her crib or crawls around the house.  She is a mini version of both Deonn and I and is such an independent one that is. She would fetch her own fruits or snack from the fridge or get the milk for us to prepare for her.  We have eliminated the bottle entirely since her 18 months check up and she's been on her sippycup since.   It was not a transition without challenge. She could finish her 8oz bottle in a mere 10 mins; with the sippycup, it would take a good 30-45 mins with constant supervision and reminder of her to "drink your milk".  My theory is that it takes more effort to drink from the sippycup than a typical bottle.

Potty Training: We started about a month ago with much more success in term of her willingness to "try".  London now will tell you that she needs to go and will do all the steps of sitting down on her cushion on the toilet and use TP and put cushion away, close the lid, then flush, and of course wrap it up by washing her hands.  That does not mean she does the deeds each time, but at least she follows all "procedures".  On her days at home, she does not wear diapers and we have accidents here and there but i guess its all for the good cause.  She is also brushing her own teeth and still learning to spit.

Daycare:  We started at the new daycare and we all like it very much.  It's still only part time since we are still on the waiting list for the full time program.  She only goes 2x a week and is still getting used to it due to being home this whole spring/summer.  The teacher in her class in great.  She is helping us with potty-training London.  We are happy here.

There were a few celebrations for London's big TWO.  Although there was no big party like last year, this year was more intimate and still meaningful.  Her big surprise was the Hello Kitty Minicooper. We went car shopping for her a few weeks before and she "test drove" a few until we settled on the HK.

Her first choice!

This car is good but it's a tad too big for London

How about a minie bug?

or this??

It's here!!! We chose the HK Minicooper

London became the star of the entire neighborhood when she took her pink car outside to drive around.  All the kids started to run over to watch her and play with her.  One other boy came home to take her car out since he saw London.  It has been a blast watching her drive. And she does drive like an Asian woman LOL

showing off her car.

We had a small dinner at home with a cake.  London had several cakes for her birthday. She is such a princess.
