Snowzilla 2016

It's been a week since the epic snowstorm. I don't think We have ever experienced a snowstorm this huge before.

We did a couple extra grocery trips just in case. I looked at it as having a snow-cation. When do we ever get to just stay home with no specific agenda?. Even when we do take vacations, there is always a plan to do something. Needless to say I was secretly excited for this snowstorm.
Just one of those grocery run before the storm.
Friday was just getting ready and it didn't snow til the afternoon. Blame my mommy's brain but I cannot remember if London had school that Friday. If she did, we must have picked her up early? Either way, everyone was home by 2pm. We even told the nanny to leave by noon.

The gloomy sky but so calm.
By Saturday morning it was falling so hard. Deonn continuously shoveled every few hours. We cleared the deck and a few hours later it was full of snow again. London was loving it at first. We went outside to play with Baron.

After a few minutes they both wanted to go inside because we couldn't even see. London said "the snow is so rough I want to go inside. We can play when it's not snowing so hard anymore."  She was struggling to get home from Barons house.

London was screaming for help "can somebody help me"

We couldn't even open our eyes. I guess it was time to run back inside.

The snow was light and fluffy enough to lay down for one second before running inside.

The rest of the weekend (from Friday til Tuesday) were shovel snow, hanging out, watching movie, play with snow, shovel snow, eat some more, shovel some more.  We all reached "cabin fever" by Tuesday evening. Londons school closed for the whole week. By Wednesday she told me she missed school.

Deonn kept cleaning the deck. He borrowed Londons hat.

We borrowed a snowblower from Barons daddy. We really need to buy one when it goes on sale this summer.

Deonn made a fort for us and I guess his truck.

London was building a "snowman" or something.

I was trying to get up the steps to clean them. Quite a "climb"!!!

Deonn changed into a new attire everyday of the 4 days we were snowed in. I don't know how he has that many jackets just to shovel.

The icicle right outside of the bathroom.

London was refueling after a hard day at work (or play)

We couldn't get to the hill by the House to sled so they sledded down the mountain they created.

London was on top of this mountain like a true explorer

And of course they had to take a bubble bath in the jacuzzi after such a tough day.
Baby Langston didn't come out to play til  Monday when the storm was done and over with.

He was ready for the snow in his winter suit.

Look at that intense stare

I don't think he likes his outfit or the sun or the snow. He just didn't look happy.

He looked like a penguin.
Family

Overall Langston didn't care for the snow or to be outside.
Look at how he was squatting

He was happier to be in the house and look at the snow from indoor.
Or to be tickled by daddy

I can't tell if he enjoyed this bubble bath.

He definitely prefers to explore around the house with no pants.

Or munch on spider man legs.

I think we had enough snow for the season. Until next year.
